Simplify Boolean expressions step by step, see which law was applied at each stage, check your working against a full truth table, and view the resulting logic circuit.

How to use it

  • Type an expression using the toolbar buttons or your keyboard — . for AND, + for OR, ! for NOT.
  • Click Simplify (or press Ctrl+Enter) to see the full step-by-step solution. Editing the expression afterwards reverts back to the original, unsolved view until you simplify again.
  • Click a rule name (e.g. De Morgan's Law) to see what it means and why it applies.
  • Switch to Truth Table to compare the original and simplified expressions row by row.
  • Switch to Logic Circuit to see the simplified expression as a gate diagram — click or tab to a variable to toggle it and watch the wires update.
  • Copy steps and Copy CSV put the proof or table on your clipboard.
